Card of the Month: Insane’s Echo
Lemme grow, lemme grow. To slay them all.
Overview
Insane’s Echo is a scaling card that grows stronger every time you cast a spell. Its power increases steadily as the match progresses, turning each spell you play into a direct investment in its offensive potential. This makes it a natural threat that becomes more dangerous the longer it stays on the board.
Role and core idea
Insane’s Echo is designed as an early‑use card that rewards players who can cast spells consistently. Unlike the rest of the Summoner deck, which leans heavily into aggressive, immediate pressure, Insane’s Echo requires a bit more foresight. It asks you to plan ahead, set it up early, and let your spell‑casting rhythm fuel its growth. It becomes a bridge between the Summoner’s explosive playstyle and a more strategic, long‑term approach.
How to use
The ideal way to use Insane’s Echo is to place it on the board as early as possible. Once it is in play, you should aim to cast at least one spell per turn; doing so will grant the card a remarkable +6 strength after only three turns. Its five life points make it fairly durable, but its growing power will quickly draw your opponent’s attention. Because of this, it is wise to reserve your healing spells specifically for Insane’s Echo, ensuring it survives long enough to reach its full potential.
Synergies and combos
Insane’s Echo works particularly well with origins that provide defensive tools. The Healer origin is an excellent choice, as it grants access to defensive spells that help the Echo stay alive while it accumulates strength. The Architect origin is another strong alternative, offering protective walls that can shield Insane’s Echo from early aggression and buy the time it needs to scale safely.
